Our Sign that was on the highway across from the Esso in Bras d'Or had been vandalized.
The sign was broken into pieces by a group of vigilantes and taken down without our permission. There were't any indications the sign was broken off. Someone planned to remove this because of it's size, you'd need a truck to haul it away. Previously to that, a solvent was thrown on it. The Mounties have been notified.
This was not a random act of vandilism!!
A new one has been ordered.
It's a shame because this will cost our members over $500.00 to have it replaced.
