On Nov. 4, 2010 we held a General Meeting at the Sydney Mines Food Bank.
The Financial report was read and available for anyone to check over or wanted a copy.
It was a small intimate meeting with the exchange of genealogical infomation and general discussions within the group.
A special thanks to Paulette MacLean who brought her "Devoe" book. A lot of information exchanged here.
Also, a late thank you to Walter Carey for donating pictures of Little Bras d'Or Gut.
Our next meeting will be on Dec. 01, 2010 at 6:30 pm. Special guest speaker Historian Elizabeth Marshall will be attending to discuss the meanings of the treaty and the flag. This should prove to be an interesting and information filled evening. We encourage all who are serious about learning the treaty histories to attend.
