Means, "I am going home" in the Mi'kmaq language -- and symbolizes our journey homeword, through the "fog" and deception of our re-written histories, as we finally recognize our ancestors as Mi'kmaq, and learn of our heritage.
Elumea sounds sort of like "illuminate" -- and reminds us of the light that shows the way through the fog -- as our Eagle, "Elumea" guides us home.

I feel this should be the name because of our roots to the Micmac Nation. This name "Samqwan Kitpu: means "Water eagle" as Bras d'Or is known for the Bras d'Or Lakes maybe this should be in the crest as well as a background or a watermark in the eagles feathers.
