i have different mi kmaq blood line one is from jean CLAUDE mi kmaq indian ,an other one is from EDMEE LEJEUNE DAUGHTER OF PIERRE LEJEUNE BRAS DOR INDIAN, AN OTHER BLOOD LINE IS FROM PIERRE LEBORGNE WHO MARRIED MI KMAQ WOMAN.
i am proud to have mi kmaq blood.
Researching lineage. I may be a decendent of Catherine Lejeune, my 7th Great Grandmother via her marriage to Francois Savoie.
Many of us mixed descendants of First Peoples are seeking our roots. We need to know, rather than remain orphans in concept.
